I guess it's April in the D

So that means apparently that the Wings lose to the Hawks for the first time all season.
Conkcan'tBlock had a rough game letting in a goal 16 seconds into the first

The game seemed more like a scrimmage between a high school varsity and JV team....
Draper is out with an upper body injury

So Chelios played forward, he may have touched the puck once

Samulesson was incapable of hitting the net

Ken Daniels whips out the corny Jokes. When a Hawks player strangely loses his blade, Daniels jumps in with the classic gem "Someone has a few screws loose down there"

They debate the fact that McCollum and Hudler should be twins....you decide

During the last minutes the refs win the game for the Blackhawks calling a penalty shot after a great and clean play on a breakaway by Kronwall. Yes it did make me stand up and scream, "get off your knees ref, you're blowing the game!!"

Blah, I'm ready for the playoffs. Overall, in the immortal words of Mickey Redmond, a "loosey goosey effort."

  1. I've got to admit:

Hudler and McCollum do resemble each other, but they don't look similar enough to be considered twins.

    My favorite quote:
"Wow! Chelios takes one to the face! Gotta admit, he never would've gotten that one playing defense!"
