Lilja on LTIR

As reported by Ansar Khan, Lilja has been placed on long term injury reserve. He will be forced to miss 10 games and will not be eligible until March 27. He has missed the last 3 games.

Lilja will certainly be missed on the penalty kill with his willingness to hit and block shots. He currently has 92 blocked shots this season.

While this is bad news, it will allow the Wings to have an extended look at Big Rig. He has been playing well for the Wings (if we overlook the shit fest in Columbus) and has one assist and is minus-2.
