2 days and counting...

Wednesdays usually suck...you're only half way through the week, and the end is not quite in sight....but this Wednesday is certainly a day to remember. The Media has finally jumped off of Crosby's dick and realized that this year, he shouldn't be named as a Hart Finalist. Somewhere in Mario's basement Gary and his bitch baby are wrapped up in their Snuggies holding each other and softly crying...ignore that bizarre picture and just enjoy the feeling....

This years Hart Finalists, (according to Ansar Khan and his actual scoop) are listed below:

Pavel Datsyuk

Yep that's right Pavel Freaking Datsyuk has been nominated for the Lady Bing, the Selke, and now the Hart. Ovechkin will win the Hart, the push has been for Richards to take home the Selke, and Dangle Dangle seems to be the favorite for the Lady Bing...in my humble opinion, he should sweep all categories...well if you look at the actual verbage for each award he should....but I don't think that means much anymore...Green will win the Norris so enough said about that.

Call me crazy but I don't think many people are ready to play against Dangle Dangle, and yet they still don't attempt to turn the game into soft core porn...

Wednesday Odds and Ends

Despite his recent foray into untimely hits injuring his teammates, Kronwall's play has really picked up as of late. This is certainly a positive on the brink of the playoffs. CBC has a nice article on his turnaround and future as a Wing.

And Speaking of Kronwall, the Chief posted a picture of the hit that has apparently injured Cleary. It sucks he's hurt but the picture is kinda funny. It would seem as though Kronwall is attempting to nibble on Cleary's neck, but he's having none of it. In the background, Mule has an 'oh fuck' look on his face....wait, that's how he always looks....and even farther back Homer looks like he's over this shit....

But in all seriousness, by looking at the picture his knee looks jacked up....I'm guessing that's probably what his mysterious injury entails......But if you've read the Dave Dye article regarding injuries and the playoffs....maybe Cleary will be back for game 1.

I haven't really heard anything too concrete about Leino coming up from the AHL. Some say yes, some say nothing...so who knows. I haven't seen anything on the AHL wire....

Bruce MacLeod is back bitches. I suppose I can recall the search dogs. And of course he doesn't disappoint. He posted a great interview with dangle dangle.
